I decided recently that I wanted to embrace my spiritual side a bit more, to help me. By which, I mean feel more connected with myself and the world around me. So, one of the steps I took, was to sign onto a half day meditation course focused on making happiness a habit, and how easily we can be driven off our ‘happiness path’ by our thoughts.
Knowing that our thoughts create our actions, our minds can be both our best and fiercest friend, often leading us away from happiness without us even realising it. This isn’t always immediately clear to us, when we are feeling, sad, hurt, angry as we are being reactive and driven unconsciously.
So, for me by taking the time to undertake even a short course, is a reminder of the importance of growth, learning and re learning. Helping me along my growth and happiness journey.
I have to say that the teacher was excellent in the way that just within a few hours she was able to provide simplify to what can seem the complex subject.

I definitely recommend a walk and getting in nature to feel more grounded or even better sitting looking at the sea.
